  • Warwickshire Cup Final and After Party - 8th August 2010

The only place to be on Sunday 8th August 2010 is Cirencester Park Polo Club for the final of The Warwickshire Cup.  The highlight of the UK polo season and a chance to see some of the world's best players.

The Warwickshire Cup has been played for over 110 years and is the jewel in the crown of the three famous and significant high-goal tournaments in the British Polo season, referred to as ‘The Triple Crown’.

Cirencester's famous High Goal Trophy the cup was originally presented in 1894 to Warwickshire Polo Club but during the War the Cup was held for safekeeping by the governing body of polo - Hurlingham Polo Association. In 1960 the Cup was loaned to the oldest and most established high-goal polo club, Cirencester Park, to be played on the historic Ivy Lodge ground. The cup presented to the winning team is one of the oldest on the polo circuit.

Top international polo teams and players come together to participate in The British High Goal Season, culminating in The Warwickshire Cup, before departing for the continental European season.

The Warwickshire Cup is an historic trophy and plays an essential role in defining the top players in the British High Goal Season.

Cirencester Park Polo Club are delighted to be welcoming back Event Bar Specialists, Gorilla Events and the legendary Golden Goose Catering who will again be hosting The 'Warwickshire Cup Bar and Grill'.  We would like to invite you to attend and enjoy a choice of delicious food hot off the gourmet barbecue along with summer cocktails and ice-cold beers.  Celebrate the day in style with a champagne lunch and then stay to watch the sun go down with the cool tunes and The Warwickshire Cup after party untill 11.30pm.  The Warwickshire Cup after party is free entry with DJs and BBQs all evening long.
